Happy New Years!!
Looking back on 2019, I realized how life can take a sudden turn for the worst and that it is okay to feel lost and confused. I was hit with the reality that my life will not be the same and that it is time to put my big girl pants. One of my biggest lessons I learned is how important documenting is to me. I need to document my life whether it is through journaling, taking more pictures, or making videos of my daily life. This year I already know I will be on many emotional roller coasters so I want to maintain a level head and start journaling in any way to keep me grounded.
As I reflect back on my life I tend to be the one to always think of the negative things. What did I do wrong? How did I even get here? However, I believe that's the perfectionist in me. I am never content with what I am doing, my career choice, or even the area we choose to live. I believe if I start documenting more it will be a game-changer for me, making me see exactly how things were at the time.
So today I will documenting my goals for 2020. I want to be able to look back at the end of this year and see how far I had came. That with focus and dedication, I can accomplish anything.
-Focus on Mental Health
-Tone body, lifting weights
I just started working out in my living room, watching YouTube vidz to tone my bod up. Currently, working on my Summer body, which then helps my energy levels and gets me on the right track as the day begins. I already know that this year will bring some big changes to my life, so before it gets too crazy I would like to seek counseling to help me stay in perspective of things.
This one is extremely important to me. Having an emergency fund to fall back on if anything unexpectedly happens. Hope for the best, preparing for the worst has been my mood since I had moved out of my parents' house and especially since being a first-time mom. So I'm working on having at least 6 months rent saved up by the end of the year.
-making memories with baby
It's the world against You and Me baby!! This year I want to travel with my baby as much as I can. Our first trip will be to Arizona. One of my bestie just recently moved there and the scenery is exactly what I need right now. It looks like the perfect place to go and clear you head.
Decluttering everything in my life, starting with my closet. I have way too many clothes, shoes, makeup products and much more to get rid of. The act of cleaning and organizing has a huge effect on me.
So, while it is important to set goals and document your life milestones. Please remember to not stress yourself out to become someone you are not! Just try to work on the small things that seems to bring negativity to your life or something that you can change for the better.
I hope my goals help inspire you to set your own dreams and goals to become a better you this year. Thanks for reading!
